Wiseguys Comedy: Weekend Headliners
Wiseguys Comedy (Arts District)
Touring headliners in a hundred-seat room in the Arts District. No Strip markup, two-drink minimum, and the jokes actually land. Where locals laugh.
The next 12 months
Got people coming to town in a few months? Here's what's already on the calendar, the whole year out. It thins out the further you look, because not everything's announced yet. We add shows as they drop.
Wiseguys Comedy (Arts District)
Touring headliners in a hundred-seat room in the Arts District. No Strip markup, two-drink minimum, and the jokes actually land. Where locals laugh.
Michelob ULTRA Arena (Mandalay Bay)
The WNBA's best play ten minutes off the Strip. Loud building, cheap upper bowl, and the Aces actually win. A real local summer night.
Fremont Street Experience
Free post-grunge on Fremont under the canopy. No wristband, no cover, just show up. Get there early and grab a spot near the stage.
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas (LINQ)
Prog-rock chaos at Brooklyn Bowl, bowling lanes and all. Standing room, big sound, off-Strip energy. Go if you like your riffs technical.
Arts District (Casino Center Blvd)
The whole Arts District spills outside on the first Friday. Art, food trucks, live music, and it's free. The most local thing downtown does.
Las Vegas Ballpark
Eighteen-dollar seats and July 3rd fireworks out in Summerlin. The most local thing you can do on a holiday Friday.
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas (LINQ)
Emo Night on the Fourth instead of fighting Strip crowds. DJs spinning the bands you cried to in 2008. Cheap, sweaty, and very local.
House of Blues (Mandalay Bay)
Off-Strip-feeling rock at House of Blues. Tight room, great sound, and the Foundation Room balcony is the local move.
Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club (LINQ Promenade)
Real touring stand-ups in a 300-seat room on the Promenade, and surprise drop-ins happen. Skip the big resident shows, this is where the actual comedy is.
The Pearl Concert Theater (Palms)
New jack swing off the Strip at the Pearl. Easy in, easy out, full nostalgia. Worth it if you grew up on Don't Be Cruel.
Fremont Street Experience
A country-meets-emo double bill, free on Fremont. Odd combo, but both bring it live. Get there early for a rail spot.
Sphere
Yeah it's the Sphere and no it isn't cheap, but locals still go for the big ones. One look inside and you get why it's worth a bucket-list night.
Brad Garrett's Comedy Club (MGM Grand)
Brad's club books real road comics, not lounge filler. Pricey for the Strip but a reliably funny night. Go for the laughs, not the food.
Downtown Las Vegas Events Center
Asian street food, local makers, and neon in the heart of downtown. Five bucks in, bring cash, come hungry. Pure local Saturday.
The Pearl Concert Theater (Palms)
A 2000s pop-punk triple bill. If you ever owned a studded belt, this one's for you. Off-Strip at the Pearl.
Bel-Air at Durango
Live band, no cover, at the new Durango out in the southwest. The locals' casino locals actually drive to. Get there before the bar fills up.
Fremont Street Experience
2000s emo nostalgia for zero dollars on Fremont Street. If you owned skinny jeans, you'll know every word. Free still means get there early.
Fremont Street Experience
Free post-hardcore downtown, and yes they will play Until the Day I Die. Loud, sweaty, no cover. Most fun you can have for free this month.
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas (LINQ)
Synthwave for the after-dark drive home. Standing room and bowling lanes at Brooklyn Bowl. Go if you like Drive or Stranger Things.
San Gennaro Feast
Old-school Italian street feast, free to walk in. Sausage and peppers, zeppole, carnival rides, cash at the stands. Bring an appetite and small bills.
