Privacy

The Locals Cut is an events calendar for locals. You can browse with no account, and we don't set our own advertising or tracking cookies. We collect only two things, and only if you opt in: your email (for the weekend digest) and a push-notification subscription (for the alerts you choose). Both are described below, and we never sell or share either.

Affiliate / outbound links. Some "Get tickets" links are affiliate links to ticketing partners (Ticketmaster, SeatGeek). When you click one, you leave our site and the partner's own privacy policy and cookies apply. Those links may carry a tracking parameter so we can be credited for a sale, so no personal information about you leaves this site.

Analytics. If we enable analytics, we use a privacy-respecting, cookie-less tool (e.g. Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible) that does not identify individual visitors.

Email. If you choose to give us your email for a future weekend digest, we store only that address and use it only for that purpose. We never sell or share it. You can ask us to delete it any time at removals@thelocalscut.com.

Push alerts. If you turn on alerts, your browser creates a push subscription (a unique device endpoint) that we store with the event categories you picked, so we can notify you. We don't collect your name, location, or browsing history. Turn alerts off in your browser any time, or email us to delete your subscription.
